Bored of listening to great music on your own? Good Album Club is the world’s friendliest music club - where music lovers meet to listen to albums that may have passed them by.

Come on your own or with friends - we're united by a love of music, so you'll never be left standing around feeling awkward.

We meet from 7pm on the second Monday of every month at Overdraft in Winchester to play under-appreciated albums in the spirit of friendliness and open conversation.

Here's how it works: music lovers put their name in the draw, we pick one at random and they tell everyone what this album means to them. It doesn't need to be 'cool' (in fact, it's better if it isn't!) - it's a chance to hear something with fresh ears in a friendly environment.

Whilst the album plays from Spotify, everyone adds tracks to a collaborative playlist - anything that connects to what we're hearing. Same era, similar vibe, completely different but somehow related. Your call.

You arrive, grab a drink, and say hi to your fellow music lovers. The album gives you something to focus on, the playlist gives you something to do, and the conversation flows naturally around both.

Any genre welcome. No music degrees required. No pretension. No gatekeeping. Just friendly people with an open-minded attitude to music.

If you've got an album you think the world has overlooked, put your name in the draw. If you just want to listen and meet people who care about music, you're just as welcome.
